The Royal British Legion is a charity to help those from the ex forces community and their dependants in time of need. It functions through a countywide network of branches manned by volunteer members. The legion offers comradeship and support offering help through grants, holidays, retraining, job seeking, residential home accomodation, in one of its own homes and small business loans for the unemployed. Assistance can also be given making war pension claims and advice on state benefits.
