Leominster Medieval Fair and Battle of Mortimers Cross 1461 is a not for profit group whose purpose is to re-enact the Battle of Mortimers Cross, part of the war of the Roses. This includes a Living History Camp. Other aims are to help people to research, care for and display local traditions, culture and heritage. The group aims to provide a two-day event of Living History, medieval entertainment and an authentic medieval fair. Authentic traders will be present, also there will be jugglers and medieval musicians and hawks will be part of the entertainment as will dassamezzo, which is an early dance all dressed in medieval costumes. The audience is encouraged to participate in some events.
