Finding Groups in Herefordshire and Worcestershire

At it's AGM in Sept 2016 the majority of members voted to close the Club down due to the lack of people - brought about to some degree by the presence of two more Probus clubs in the Town attracting a younger element . The setting up of these clubs was made possible because of the popularity of this - the original Club who's membership over the years had grown to a point where it became difficult to manage and as a consequence had to restrict recruitment.
However, as the club was founded in 1971 the membership naturally aged with it and although new members joined as the older ones passed away there were insufficient numbers joining to make up the difference.

The badge of the Presidents office - records and papers now rest in the Archives of Herefordshire County Council.

At this same AGM it was agreed that the remaining 12 or more members would form a lunch club and have since enjoyed each others company on a number of occasions, so in a sense the Club lives on

This lunch club would be quite happy to welcome other Gentlemen of a good age to join them if they so wish by contacting the phone numbers above for details.
