Protective Behaviours Consortium (PBC) is a National CIC, established in 2014, that actively promotes the Protective Behaviours Process as a practical and down to earth approach to personal safety. We are THE National suppliers of Accredited Protective Behaviours in the UK.

Working in Worcestershire, the West Midlands and throughout the UK, the Consortium delivers OCN accredited Protective Behaviours based courses, individual/ small group work/ programmes, consultancy and advice, and provides resources to a wide range of organisations including Children's Services, Education, Prisons, The Police, Youth Offending Services, Voluntary and Community groups working with Children, Young People and Adults, in particular Women.

We work to equip individuals (including frontline services) to work safely and effectively with children, families and vulnerable adults.

The Consortium's goals are to:

- Promote & protect sexual, physical and mental health, prevent violence and crime
- Protect children from cruelty, neglect and abuse
- Prevent and protect people from domestic abuse

Our Vision is to enable everyone to live safely without the fear of violence or abuse.

Our Belief is we all have the right to feel safe all the time.

Our Mission:
Protective Behaviours Consortium, CIC (PBC) is working to reduce abusive and violent behaviour in families and communities. Through education in the Protective Behaviours Process we want everyone to have the skills to keep themselves and others feeling safe. We promote an adventurous approach to life without the fear of harm or victimisation. We want people to know we can talk with someone about anything even if it is awful or small.
